Kaelyn Nelson Portfolio

My name is Kaelyn Nelson and I have a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education and Communication with a specialization in Communication and Leadership Development from the University of Florida. While studying at UF, I discovered a passion for digital media production and writing, and that passion found an avenue in communications and marketing. After graduating in 2023, I worked as a Communications Assistant for a team housed in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences until 2025. In June of 2025, I made the transition to work for a marketing company in Manhattan, Kansas as a Photo and Video Production Manager. 

As an employee, I value creativity, personal performance, and relationships. I seek to treat everyone with kindness and encourage the people around me to the best of my ability. I am also dedicated to constant professional and personal improvement and value constructive feedback. 

My greatest career achievements thus far have been working with Kansas State University's College of Agriculture for student recruitment and marketing through photo and video production. Another achievement has been working closely with U.S. Wheat during the launch of the World Food Programme to highlight the commodity's role in feeding the world.
